About Nobodaddy

Nobodaddy unites the talents of Adam Clark, Matt Clark and Mike Wordingham. All accomplished songwriters and musicians in their own right, the sum is greater still. The brothers met Mike in the early 1980s and the three of them have built their musical lives together ever since, honing their harmonies and chasing the perfect song.

Before forming Nobodaddy they wrote and recorded with a range of artists including Mobo-nominated singer Zara McFarlane, Greek pop diva Apostolina May, and indie outfit Ego. Since releasing their debut album ‘There must be less to life than this’ in 2007, Nobodaddy have written and released the album ‘My Confession’ with Irish chanteuse Niamh Cavlan, appeared on BBC TV and Radio, supported Scottish Bluegrass luminaries the Southern Folk Tenant Union, and continued to hone their songwriting craft and live act at folk clubs, bars and festivals across the UK.

With echoes of country and folk, though not squarely in any tradition, Nobodaddy combine a respectful eye on the craft of the song with a keen ear for melody, wry lyrics, sweet harmonies and a love of a good yarn. Their second album ‘Longing for Flight’ was released in February 2014.
